All Star Auto Shippers:
All Star Auto Shippers is a registered broker (ICC/MC
596402). All Star Auto Shippers is a licensed and bonded
Property Broker. All Star is responsible for booking the
shipment of vehicles with a licensed and insured Motor
Carrier.
Payment:
An initial deposit is charged when placing a shipping
order. At that time credit cards (Visa, MasterCard,
Discover, and American Express), cashiers checks, and
money orders are accepted. All payment balance for
transport must be in the form of cash, cashier’s check,
or money order on delivery. If the payment cannot be
made upon delivery, the vehicle will be held in storage
at the customer’s expense. Should the customer, for any
reason, be unable to accept delivery, the vehicle will
be placed in storage. Any and all storage and/or
delivery costs will be the responsibility of the
customer at the destination point.
Dispatching:
All Star Auto Shippers assures to ship vehicles using a
reliable carrier dispatched on or about the dates of
availability. All Star and carrier cannot guarantee
specific pickup and/or delivery dates. All Star and
carriers will not be responsible for car rentals. If the
assigned driver is unable to pick up the vehicle at the
designated pickup address due to traffic, street, or
legal restrictions, the customer must meet the driver at
a nearby location to load and/or unload the vehicle.
Vehicle Preparation:
The customer is responsible for preparing the vehicle
for transport. All loose parts, sticking out or
breakable accessories, low hanging spoilers, fog lights,
antennas, etc., must be removed or retracted and
properly secured. All Star Auto Shippers and the
carriers are not responsible for any part of the vehicle
that might fall off during transport, nor are All Star
Auto Shippers or the carrier responsible for damage to
third-party vehicle(s) that may be involved. All Star
Auto Shippers and carrier will not be responsible for
any mechanical or electrical malfunctions, leaking
fluids or exhaust systems that occur during transport.
All Star Auto Shippers or the carrier will not be
responsible for convertible tops that are loose, torn,
or show signs of visible wear. All Star or carrier will
not be responsible for vehicle boots, caps, masks, bras,
or any other type of canvas or material covering.
Car Alarms:
The Customer is responsible for deactivating any alarm
system and must provide necessary keys and/or remotes
for these.
Inoperable Vehicles:
It is the customer or shipper’s responsibility to ensure
that the vehicle is in proper working order. Should
vehicle become inoperable during transport; fees up to
$200 may be due at the time of delivery, in addition to
any balance owed.
Personal Cargo:
It is not recommended to leave personal cargo in the
vehicle during transport. Carriers are not responsible
for and cannot be held accountable for any lost or
stolen cargo. If the customer chooses to leave items in
the vehicle, it will be at their own risk. The carrier
will also have the right to charge the customer, on the
delivery end, for the cargo left in the vehicle if a
fine was incurred during transport due to overweight.
All Star or its carrier are also not responsible for any
vandalism that might occur due to visible personal cargo
left in the interior of the vehicle.
Bill of Lading:
By the owner or shipper’s signature on the bill of
lading, All Star Auto Shippers and carrier are
authorized to transport the vehicle from the pickup
origin to the delivery destination. There will be a
mandatory condition report inspection conducted at both
the pickup and delivery locations which will be noted on
the BOL. Should the customer be unavailable for pickup
or delivery, All Star must be notified for scheduling
changes to be made.
Natural Disasters:
All Star Auto Shippers or its carrier will not be
responsible for natural disasters or acts of God such as
earthquakes, floods, fire, tornado, sandstorms, or hail
storms. This also includes damage caused by falling
objects from the sky, flying objects from the road
during transport, or any form of vandalism. The customer
must inquire his/her own insurance for this purpose.
Damages:
Should any damage occur due to negligence of the
carrier, all damage must be properly noted in the |
